A b-day getaway

Birthdays and getaways are definitely different with a little muffin... a lot less focus on yourself, a little more focus on packing and a lot of focus on figuring out how to keep a routine while on a getaway with an active baby. Needless to say, we were happy to get away but also realized vacations will be different until he's older. Which isn't bad... just different. Maybe couple getaways are the way to go until their 2 or such.
In any case, I felt so loved by family, friends and co-workers! Seriously, I was trying to not do anything this year and people were so kind!
